Legislative Priority discussions today ranged from topics such as asking for support on expansion of grocery store access and availability, to Breakfast after the Bell, and physical activity in elementary schools.

We had our first meeting for the Council on Bridging the Nutritional Divide today in Richmond. The subcommittee I have been appointed to is the Community Initiatives work group as it relates to food access, health strategies and programs across the state. I look forward to representing the Commonwealth of Virginia.
